Review by Hawk Chavez
I was unfamiliar to this Louisiana band, I was not sure what to expect; however the moment I listened to their first track, “Sedated” off their self-titled album I was hooked tight; starts out soft and mellow than escalates into a powerful intense guitar riffs, passionate vocals anthem of love.
Young but so mature for their age, Another Big Machine created a unique modern rock that you rarely hear. This 10-track album is packed solid with well-composed high-energy pop-rock ballads that flow into each other, creating one big story… more like a novel. Extremely high energy and soulful attitude “Revolution” and “All These Lights comes across as an enlightening sermon, well preached.
Combining sounds of old and new school with emotional vocals, the right special touch on guitars and bass with the smooth beats on drums and wailing backing vocals on “Brand New Kind Of Love – with strings”, you have one tearjerker track that holds deep in anyone’s hearts, the ultimate love song that rises above all love songs.
